Hello, and welcome to novice-writers, a club for, you guessed it, novice writers This club is for people of all ages looking to improve their writing skills. By joining, you will enter a simple network of authors, both young and old (though currently just young ) who are also seeking to add to their knowledge.

.How to Join.

Send a note to us with the subject as 'join', and include a short writing sample, about a page in Word. This could be a link to something you've already done, or something inspired by the moment. From there we will decide whether or not you can join.

.Note. We are sad to say we cannot let every single person that asks to join. This is a club for Novice Writers, which means we're only looking for people that need the most help. Thank you.

.Note2. If you would like to be on our .Suggested Writers. list, please send a note to us with a sample of your writing, and we will consider it =]

.What's gonna happen.

Alright, when you join, we will look over the writing sample you provided and stick you on a list of people we are going to help. THIS IS NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. The list is going to be based on how well we think your writing is. If we think you could use a lot of help, you'll be put near the top. If we think your writing skills are at a good level, we'll put you further down. See? Good =]

Alright, now, when it comes your time to be helped, you'll be assigned to either ~UnashamedXFelinity, or ~Firestar7218, who will be your writing coach. Any questions/comments/concerns you have about your writing will be directed towards your particular coach. You don't get to choose which coach you want, but you can request one or the other if you do so wish.

Once you have your coach, you will follow their every whim. You will be their slave until they release you. Okay, not really =] They're just there to help you, not hurt So anyways, they'll help you with spelling, grammar, description, introductions, and anything else associated with writing! Cool, eh?

Now this is really cool Once your sensei beleives that she has taught you all she can, you will be allowed to write a chapter in THE GREAT BOOK, which will be submitted on this account What's THE GREAT BOOK, you ask? Well, it's the book we, as a club, are going to write =] The lucky first student will be able to choose which genre they want the book to be, and they'll be able to start it off!

Last part... Once you finish your chapter in THE GREAT BOOK and have sent it to us and we've put it up on the account, you will receive your Graduation Certificate, which means you have completed the Novice-Writers course, and you can show it to all your friends with pride =] Also, once you finish, you will be put under our .Suggested Writers. section, and everyone will want to go to your site and check your writings =] Mozzletoff, or however you spell it

.Rules.

1. DO NOT CRITICIZE YOUR FELLOW AUTHOR'S WORK. Creative criticism is a-okay, and is very much encouraged, but cruel criticism is just plain STUPID.
2. BE KIND TO YOUR FELLOW AUTHORS. If we catch wind of any cruelty between members, BOTH or ALL will be thrown out of the club to prevent further disturbances.
3. DON'T WHINE. Pleaaassseee, if it's taking a while to get to your turn, just send us a note asking if you can be put in line next, and we'll either accept or decline, depending on how we feel the level of your writing skills are.
4. BE POLITE. It does a world of good =]

.THE GREAT BOOK rules.

1. DON'T GO COMPLETELY OFF-TOPIC. It would just be REALLY weird. Yeah.
2. ASK BEFORE YOU INTRODUCE A NEW SUBCHARECTER. This would include anyone that has any significance other than to provide filler space, ie. someone like Ron Weasly.
3. KEEP THE WRITING IN THE GREAT BOOK PG, AT MOST. Remeber, we have writers of all ages in this That includes ikkle 11 year-olds.
